If you chew gum and it starts getting hard, best toss it away, according to department of orthodontics at the University of Naples in Italy.
They tested people chewing gum at a rate of 80 chews per minute and tested their heart beats and blood pressure afterwards. The results: heart beats went up 11 beats per minute and blood pressure went up 14 millimeters of mercury.
