Scenario: Job Interview
Question: "Why should we hire for this position?"
My name is John Doe and I have work with this company for a number years now. I know my job duties really well. I know by moving up to this position I will not only help myself grow as a person but also help the company grow with my knowledge and experience in this company. I can help train other employees to do their job effectively, and help with trouble shooting. Although I do not know all the things that is required for this position, yet, with the right training and mentoring I learn fast and can easily adapt to any situation given to me.
(Not exactly 2 minutes of speech, but you get the idea)
Scenario 2: Meeting a group of new people
Hi, my name is John Doe, I grew up in Sacramento, CA, and I went to school is Sacramento State, and I graduated with a BA in Rocketology. I currently am living alone, I have a bird, and 2 dogs. I am the process of getting a job at the space center here in Sacramento, and am eager to pursue this career. I like analyzing the stars and see what I can figure out about them. My hobbies include surfing, skydiving, and rock climbing. I enjoy all types of sports. I like watch football, the most. My favorite team is the Sacramento Space balls. I dream of one day of flying to mars and living their with a group of people.
