6 EEO Laws

  1. Title VII Civil Rights Act of 1964 which prohibits discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, or national origin
  2. Equal Pay Act of 1963 which protects men and women working at the same job doing the same work from sex based wage discrimination
  3. Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967 which protects individuals that are 40 years and older
  4. Title I and Title V Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 which prohibits discrimination against qualified individuals with disabilities in the private sector, and state and local governments
  5. Section 501 and Section 505 Rehabilitation act of 1973 which prohibits discrimination against qualified inviduals with disabilities in the federal government
  6. Civil Rights Act of 1991 which provides monetary damages in cases of intentional discrimination
